Notice for Unpaid 2021 General Taxes and 2020/2021 School Taxes
Unpaid 2021 General Taxes and 2020/2021 School Taxes will be filed on a List of Delinquent Taxes in the Office of the Ulster County Clerk on November 2, 2021. The recording of that list will create a Notice of Pendency (lien), which is technically the start of the foreclosure process.
To avoid a $150.00 fee for title search, payments must be received no later than November 1, 2021. Please note, as of November 2, 2021, all payments must include the additional $150.00 fee.
County Road #95 - Mountain Rest Road Closure
County Road #95, Mountain Rest Road in the Town of New Paltz, approximately 0.3 miles southeast of the intersection with Butterville Road, will be closed to all thru traffic effective Tuesday, October 19th to facilitate a culvert replacement project. Traffic may use Canaan Rd north for 0.7 miles to Dug Rd Northeast for 0.3 miles to Kleinekill Dr southeast for 1.2 miles to Springtown Rd south for 0.5 miles to Mountain Rest Rd.
